Security Aviation Togs J-1 Civilian Flight Jacket

This jacket was produced by Security Aviation Togs in the Mid 1930's for the growing civilian aviation market. This was obviously a nod to the early 37J1 USN jacket with a zipper instead of buttons. Zippers were still a new closure type when this jacket was made. The jacket we pattered our reproduction off of had a early Talon Fantail Hookless zipper with rivets, made in 1932. We obtained the exact reproduction zipper and it is included on this reproduction of this unique 1930's flight jacket.
We used all 1930's correct parts:
- Beautiful Russet Goatskin
- 100% woven worsted wool knits
- 100% cotton liner
- Genuine horn buttons
- Exact copy of the Manufacturers Label
